Article Summary

A site allows you to set up a connection between an instance of the Stewardship Tier and the Syniti Knowledge Platform so that data can display on the Migration dashboard.

Refer to Migration Dashboards and How the Migration Dashboard Metrics are Calculated for more information.

Note

Only one site can be designated as the dashboard reporting site. The only types of connections allowed are SQL.

Note

The Migration dashboard is only available on North American tenants.

Register a Site

Note

Registering a site is one step in the process of connecting the Syniti Knowledge Platform and the Syniti Stewardship Tier so that data can display on the Migration dashboard. Refer to Set Up and Configuration for Reporting and Metrics Agent for more information.

To register a site:

  1. Verify you’re in the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.
    Or
    Select Admin from the Profile menu to navigate to the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.

  2. Under Connectivity, click Sites in the Admin menu.

  3. Click the Register site button.

For details about a specific field, hover over the Help icon.

For more information about sites, click the Page help icon on the Site menu.

Edit a Site

To edit a site:

  1. Verify you’re in the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.
    Or
    Select Admin from the Profile menu to navigate to the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.

  2. Under Connectivity, click Sites in the Admin menu.

  3. Click the Edit Site icon.

For details about a specific field, hover over the Help icon.

For more information about sites, click the Page help icon on the Site menu.

Delete a Site

To delete a site:

  1. Verify you’re in the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.
    Or
    Select Admin from the Profile menu to navigate to the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.

  2. Under Connectivity, click Sites in the Admin menu.

  3. Click the Name of the site to delete

  4. Click the More actions menu (. . .) and select Delete.

  5. Click Confirm to the confirmation message.
