Active Design Fields

This metric represents the number of Active fields on a Target Table in Design. It includes any manually added utility fields that are used to support processing, but excludes Fields that are automatically appended to the Target Table by ADM to support data processing, as in, ZLEGACY<FIELD> and Append Utility fields.

Active Design Fields Synchronized to Map

This metric represents the number of Active Design Fields that have been synchronized to Map.

Available Fields Mapping Populated

This metric represents fields that have mapping information populated on the Field Mappings page in the Stewardship Tier, as in, the MAPPING STATUS column is either set to Complete (Green) or In Progress (Amber).

Available Fields Mapping Complete

This metric represents the number of fields that have had mapping information populated and then submitted for approval. These are records on the Field Mappings page where the MAPPING STATUS column is set to Complete (Green).

Complete Mapping Rule Build % Complete

This metric represents the % of fields that have been submitted for approval that have had their rules built. It is calculated as follows:

Rule Build % Complete = [Fields Rules Built] / [Available Fields Mapping Populated]

Fields Available to Map

This metric represents the number of fields that have been synchronized to Map from Design and are available to Map. It is dependent upon the number of Add Row Sources assigned to a table and the Visibility of Active fields with Target Design.

Fields in Mapping Backlog

This metric represents the number of Active fields in Target Design that are pending synchronization to Map. A field could be in the mapping backlog because it had recently been activated, had its visibility changed, or because an Add Row Source has been added to a Target. It is important to take this information into account when looking at the Field Mapping and Rule Build Completion % because this number represents additional work that is to come in the future.

Field Mapping % Complete

This metric represents the % of available fields to map that have had their mapping information completed and have been submitted for approval. It is calculated as follows:-Field Mapping % Complete = [Available Fields to Mapping Complete] / [Available Fields to Map]

Fields Mapping % Populated

This metric represents the % of available fields to map that have had their mapping information completed. It is calculated as follows:

Field Mapping % Complete = [Available Fields to Mapping Populated] / [Available Fields to Map]

Fields Rules Built

This metric represents the number of [Fields Available to Map] that have had their rules built either manually or with Autogen. These are records on the Field Mappings page in the Stewardship Tier whose RULE STATUS column is set to Complete (Green).

Forecast Build Completion %

The metric represents the expected Build Completion % based upon the [Number of Build Days Passed] divided by the [Number of Build Days].

Forecast Design Completion %

This metric represents the expected Design Completion % based upon the [Number of Design Days Passed] divided by the [Number of Design Days].

Forecast Mapping Completion %

This metric represents the expected Field Mapping Completion % based upon the [Number of Mapping Days Passed] divided by the [Number of Mapping Days].

Load Program Status to Plan

This Indicator shows how the build of an Object’s Load Program is tracking against planned dates. The Load Program Status to Plan indicator uses the Object’s [Build Start Date] and [Build Completion Date] as the planning reference point, while the current status is set in Advanced Data Migration on the Process Area: Object page’s Vertical View, on the Status tab in the field Load Program Status.

The available status indicators are:

  • Not Required

  • On Track

  • Behind Plan

  • Overdue

Milestone Design Threshold Indicator

This indicator shows the Data Design performance of the Data Objects related to the Milestone via the assigned planning groups compared to the Milestones Design Complete Upper and Lower Thresholds. It is calculated as follows:

[Target Design % Complete] = [Active Design Fields Synchronised to Map] / [Active Design Fields]

The color statuses indicate:

  • Red—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is below the Design Complete Lower Threshold.

  • Amber—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is equal to or greater than the Design Complete Lower Threshold but lower than the Design Complete Upper Threshold.

  • Green—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is equal to or greater than Design Complete Upper Threshold.

Milestone Mapping Threshold Indicator

This indicator shows the Field Mapping performance of the Data Objects related to the Milestone via the assigned planning groups compared to the Milestones Mapping Complete Upper and Lower Thresholds. It is calculated as follows:

[Field Mapping % Complete] = Available Fields Mapping Complete / Fields Available to Map

The color statuses indicate:

  • Red—Set if the [Field Mapping % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is below the Mapping Complete Lower Threshold.

  • Amber—Set if the [Field Mapping % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is equal to or greater than the Mapping Complete Lower Threshold but lower than the Mapping Complete Upper Threshold.

  • Green—Set if the [Field Mapping % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is equal to or greater than Mapping Complete Upper Threshold.

Milestone Rule Build Threshold Indicator

This indicator shows the Rule Build performance of the Data Objects related to the Milestone via the assigned planning groups compared to the Milestones Rule Complete Upper and Lower Thresholds. It is calculated as follows:

[Rule Build % Complete] = [Fields Rules Built] / [Fields Available to Map]

The color statuses indicate:

  • Red—Set if the [Rule Build % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is below the Rules Complete Lower Threshold.

  • Amber—Set if the [Rule Build % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is equal to or greater than the Rules Complete Lower Threshold but lower than the Rules Complete Upper Threshold.

  • Green—Set if the [Rule Build % Complete] of the Data Objects associated with the Milestone is equal to or greater than Rules Complete Upper Threshold.

Number of Design Days

This metric represents the number of calendar weekdays between an Object’s Design Start Date and Design Completion Due Date (inclusive). These dates are set within Object Planning Data in ADM.

Number of Design Days Passed

This metric represents the number of calendar weekdays between an Object’s Design Start Date and the current Date (inclusive) or the Number of Design Days (whichever is fewer).

Number of Mapping Days

This metric represents the number of calendar weekdays between an Object’s Map Start Date and Map Completion Due Date (inclusive). These dates are defined within Object Planning Data in ADM.

Number of Mapping Days Passed

The metric represents the number of calendar weekdays between an Object’s Map Start Date and the current Date (inclusive) or the Number of Mapping Days (whichever is fewer)

Number of Build Days

The metric represents the number of calendar weekdays between an Object’s Build Start Date and Build Completion Due Date (inclusive). These dates are defined within Object Planning Data in ADM.

Number of Build Days Passed

The metric represents the number of calendar weekdays between an Object’s Build Start Date and the current Date (inclusive) or the [Number of Build Days] (whichever is fewer).

Number of Milestone Objects

This metric represents the number of Objects linked to a milestone via its assigned planning groups.

Object Build Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if the Rule Build of all targets and sources associated with an Object is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual Rule Build % Complete versus it's [Forecast Rule Build Completion %] and expected Build Completion Due Date. It is calculated as follows:

[Rule Build % Complete] = [Fields Rules Built] / [Fields Available to Map]

Build Completion Due Date Less Than Current Date

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Objects [Rule Build % Complete] is equal to 100%.

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Objects [Rule Build % Complete] is greater than or equal to the [Forecast Build Completion %].

  • Behind (Amber)—Set if the Objects [Rule Build % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Build Completion %] and the current date is less than the Build Completion End Date.

Build Completion Due Date Greater Than Current Date

Overdue (Red)—Set if the Objects [Rule Build % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Build Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the Build Completion Due Date.

Object Design Status

This indicator shows the lowest [Target Design Status] status achieved by all active Target Tables associated with an Object . For example if there are five targets in an Object, four are Complete but one is In Progress, the Object Design Status would be In Progress.

Object Design Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if an Objects Design Status is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual Design % Complete versus its Forecast Design Completion % and expected Design Completion Due Date. The indicator takes into account all Active Natural Targets associated with the Object. It is calculated as follows:

[Target Design % Complete] = [Active Design Fields Synchronised to Map] / [Active Design Fields]

Design Completion Due Date Less Than Current Date

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of an Object's Target Tables is greater than or equal to their [Forecast Design Completion %].

  • Behind (Amber)—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of an Object’s Target Tables is less than the [Forecast Design Completion %] and the current date is less than the [Target Design Completion Due Date].

Design Completion Due Date Greater Than Current Date

  • Overdue (Red)—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of an Object's Target Tables is less than the [Forecast Design Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the [Design Completion Due Date].

  • Overdue (Red)—Set if the [Target Design % Complete] of an Object’s Target Tables is 100% but any of the Object Target Tables Design Status is not Complete.

Object Field Mapping Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if the Field Mapping of all targets and sources associated with an Object is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual [Field Mapping % Complete] versus it's [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and expected Map Completion Due Date. It is calculated as follows:

[Field Mapping % Complete] = [Available Fields Mapping Complete] / [Fields Available to Map]

Map Completion Due Date Less Than Current Date

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Objects [Field Mapping % Complete] is equal to 100%.

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Objects [Field Mapping % Complete] is greater than or equal to the [Forecast Mapping Completion %].

  • Behind (Amber)—Set if the Objects [Field Mapping % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and the current date is less than the Map Completion Due Date.

Map Completion Due Date Greater Than Current Date

Overdue (Red)—Set if the Objects [Field Mapping % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the Map Completion Due Date.

Post Load Status to Plan

This Indicator shows how the build of an Object’s Post Load Reports are tracking against planned dates. The Post Load Status to Plan indicator uses the Object’s [Build Start Date] and [Build Completion Date] as the planning reference point, while the current status is set in Advanced Data Migration on the Process Area: Object page’s Vertical View, on the Status tab in the field Post Load Report Status.

The available status indicators are:

  • Not Required

  • On Track

  • Behind Plan

  • Overdue

Pre Load Status to Plan

This Indicator shows how the build of an Object’s Pre Load Reports are tracking against planned dates. The Pre Load Status to Plan indicator uses the Object’s [Build Start Date] and [Build Completion Date] as the planning reference point while the current status is set in Advanced Data Migration on the Process Area: Object page’s Vertical View, on the Status tab in the Pre Load Report Status field.

The available status indicators are:

  • Not Required

  • On Track

  • Behind Plan

  • Overdue

Process Area Build Status to Plan

This indicator shows the lowest [Object Build Status to Plan] status achieved by the Objects associated with a Process Area.

Process Area Design Status to Plan

This indicator shows the lowest [Object Design Status to Plan] status achieved by the Objects associated with a Process Area.

Process Area Mapping Status to Plan

This indicator shows the lowest [Object Field Mapping Status to Plan] status achieved by the Objects associated with a Process Area.

Relevancy Status to Plan

This Indicator shows how an Object’s definition of Relevancy rules is tracking against planned dates. The [Relevancy Status to Plan] indicator uses the Object’s [Map Start Date] and [Map Completion Date] as the planning reference point, while the current status is set in Advanced Data Migration on the Process Area: Object page’s Vertical View, on the Status tab in the field Relevancy Rule Status.

The available status indicators are:

Rule Build % Complete

This metric represents the % of available fields to map that have had their rules built. It is calculated as follows:

Rule Build % Complete = [Fields Rules Built] / [Available Fields to Map]

Target Design % Complete

This metric represents the % of Active Design Fields that have been synchronised to Map and is calculated as follows:

Target Design % Complete = [Active Design Fields Synchronised to Map] / [Active Design Fields]

Target Design Status

This Indicator shows the current design status of the target in Target Design. The Target Design Status is In Progress when its Design status is In Design and Complete if its Design Status is Design Complete or Design Finished. The status should be a transition from In Progress to Design Finished or Design Complete when the Target Design has reached an agreed baseline to begin mapping.

Target Field Mapping Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if a Target Tables Field Mapping (All Sources) is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual [Field Mapping % Complete] versus it's [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and expected Map Completion Due Date. It is calculated as follows:

[Field Mapping % Complete] = [Available Fields Mapping Complete] / [Fields Available to Map]

Map Completion Due Date Less Than Current Date

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Targets [Field Mapping % Complete] is equal to 100%.

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Targets [Field Mapping % Complete] is greater than or equal to the [Forecast Mapping Completion %].

  • Behind (Amber)—Set if the Targets [Field Mapping % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and the current date is less than the Map Completion End Date.

Map Completion Due Date Greater Than Current Date

Overdue (Red)—Set if the Targets [Field Mapping % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the Map Completion Due Date.

Target Rule Build Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if a Target Tables Rule Build (All Sources) is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual [Rule Build % Complete] versus it's [Forecast Rule Build Completion %] and expected Build Completion Due Date. It is calculated as follows:

Overdue (Red)—Set if the Targets [Rule Build % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Build Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the Build Completion Due Date.

Target Source Field Mapping Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if a Target Tables Field Mapping for a specific Source is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual Field Mapping % Complete versus it's Forecast Mapping Completion % and expected Map Completion Due Date. It is calculated as follows:

[Field Mapping % Complete] = [Available Fields Mapping Complete] / [Fields Available to Map]

Map Completion Due Date Less Than Current Date

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Target Source [Field Mapping % Complete] is equal to 100%

  • On Track (Green)—Set if the Target Source [Field Mapping % Complete] is greater than or equal to the [Forecast Mapping Completion %]

  • Behind (Amber)—Set if the Target Source [Field Mapping % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and the current date is less than the Map Completion End Date.

Map Completion Due Date Greater Than Current Date

Overdue (Red)—Set if Target Source [Field Mapping % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Mapping Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the Map Completion Due Date.

Target Source Rule Build Status to Plan

This Indicator shows if a Target Tables Rule Build for a specific Source is On Track, Behind Plan or Overdue based upon its actual [Rule Build % Complete] versus it's [Forecast Rule Build Completion %} and expected Build Completion Due Date. It is calculated as follows:

  • On Track (Green)—Set if a Target Tables [Target Design % Complete] is greater than or equal to the [Forecast Design Completion %].

  • Behind (Amber)—Set if a Target Tables [Target Design % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Design Completion %] and the current date is less than the [Design Completion End Date].

Design Completion Due Date Greater Than Current Date

  • Overdue (Red)—Set if a Target Tables [Target Design % Complete] is less than the [Forecast Design Completion %] and the current date is equal to or greater than the [Design Completion Due Date].

  • Overdue (Red)—Set if a Target Tables [Target Design % Complete] is 100% but the Target Tables Design Status is not Complete.

Unit Test Status to Plan

This Indicator shows how the unit testing of an Object is tracking against planned dates. The Unit Test Status to Plan indicator uses the Object’s [Build Start Date] and [Build Completion Date] as the planning reference point, while the current status is set in Advanced Data Migration on the Process Area: Object page’s Vertical View, on the Status tab in the field Unit Test Status.

The available status indicators are:

  • Not Required

  • On Track

  • Behind Plan

  • Overdue

Values Mapped

This metric represents the number of legacy values in [Values to Map], that have had a Target Value assigned or are set to Not Relevant.

Values To Map

This metric represents the number of legacy values that have been inserted into the value mapping process either by Insert Rules or the Legacy Value Wave Lookup Table Refresh process.
