Relationships

You can relate assets and view relationships to help understand how changes influence other assets and how assets work together to accomplish the overall governance program. Either create a custom relationship or use one of the following relationships delivered with new Knowledge Tier tenants:

  • is related to a(n)—If Asset A is related to Asset B, then Asset B is related to Asset A.

  • is synonym of a(n)—If Asset A is a synonym of Asset B, then Asset B is a synonym of Asset A.

  • has a(n)—If Asset A has a(n) Asset B, then Asset B is a part of Asset A.

  • is a(n)—If Asset A is a(n) Asset B, then Asset B is a(n) Asset A.

  • is like a(n)—If Asset A is like Asset B, then Asset B is like Asset A.

The number of originating relationships displays for each relationship tab on asset detail pages. Destination relationships are not included in the asset count of the relationship tabs.
