Enhancement

We updated the opening and closing slides of our Knowledge Tier video, Syniti Knowledge Tier Overview.

Bug Fix

[KYB-1239]-We fixed an issue where the Save button on asset detail pages displayed incorrectly formatted text.

Enhancements

To improve the consistency of the Knowledge Tier's look and feel, we updated the following elements to match throughout the application:

• The global Add button in the page header

• The list box filter menu for the Enhanced Search bar

Bug Fix

[KYB-1133]-Fixed an issue where, when adding categories and category values to a new rule, the assigned category values would not appear in the list box until navigating away from the page and returning. With the fix, categories and category values appear immediately when they are assigned to new rules.

Enhancement

The Knowledge Tier is now certified to run the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser; certification against IE 11 has been discontinued.

A video tutorial has been added to the Use Bulk Update to Edit Assets topic.

The Category title for Viewer roles no longer displays on the asset page when the asset does not have categories assigned.

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1361]-Fixed an issue that prevented Viewer role users from deleting notifications within the Knowledge Tier.

• [KYB-1398]-Fixed two issues with Deep Guidance for Bulk Update:

  • Scroll bar did not display when Deep Guidance content was expanded to be taller than the window.

  • Links in Deep Guidance did not correctly link to the Online Help.

Enhancement

The Critical Data Element field for a term is now dimmed for Viewer roles to clearly communicate that updating is not permitted.

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1116]-The Permissions options on the Accounts page are now dimmed to clearly communicate that they are read only.

• [KYB-1243]-Two changes were made to enhance the Bulk Update feature:

  • Hover text is now available for the asset type icons.

  • Additional space was added between category entries when adding values for multiple categories.

• [KYB-1242]-When using Bulk Update, users were able to select an update method for categories of Add to existing values, Find and remove existing values or Replace all existing values and specify one or more categories and category values. If they then changed the update method to Remove all existing values, the category and category values would be kept rather than being cleared out. Now, if the update method is changed to the Remove all existing values option, the selected category and category values are cleared, and the Plus icon is disabled.

• [KYB-1217]-Two issues regarding sponsors have been fixed:

  • When sponsors were added to Vision, Mission, Goals and Initiatives, the preview panel indicated that there were no sponsors.

  • When Vision, Mission, Goals and Initiatives had no current sponsors, incorrect sponsors displayed in the preview panel.

• [KYB-1313]-When a category and category value were added to an asset and then a sponsor was added, the category value was removed. Now, the category value remains after a sponsor is added.

• [KYB-1303]-When a comment was added, deleted or edited for an asset, the “You have unsaved changes” message displayed, even though changes were successfully saved. This message no longer displays in this scenario.

• [KYB-1312]-To improve clarity, new terms suggestions in asset descriptions (highlighted in yellow) are no longer highlighted for users with a Viewer role. Since the Viewer role cannot add assets, these users do not need context highlighting for Deep Guidance suggestions.
