Bug Fix

[KYB-1745]-Fixed an issue where the Assigned To list box was empty when creating a new term, policy, rule, data set or system.

Enhancement

The asset name on the search results page is now underlined on hover to clearly illustrate that it is a link to the asset detail page.

Enhancement

Project managers can now streamline their collaboration with Customer Success and expedite the process to Request a VPN Connection to a Custom Data Source to use for Custom Dashboards. Bug Fix

[KYB-1728]-Fixed an issue that when a Director persona logged in, they were navigated to the correct dashboard, but were unable to log out directly from the Dashboard screen. Director personas are now able to log out from the Director Dashboard screen as expected.

Enhancement - Versioning

The Knowledge Tier now uses a versioning and workflow endorsement process to assist in asset governance. When you create terms, policies and rules, they are automatically saved in a draft version with a Candidate status, and must be approved by a sponsor through a workflow for the asset to be published. Refer to Work with Asset Versions and the Endorsement Workflow for more information.

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1733]-Fixed an issue where the same Deep Guidance content displayed for Admin, Strategy, Search and Category Admin. Now, the correct content displays for each component.

• [KYB-1736]-Fixed an issue where no values returned when search results were filtered by Assigned To.

• [KYB-1737]-Fixed an issue where the Guidance Panel links (i.e., Assigned To and Sponsored By) did not work for the CDO Dashboard. Now, the links work as expected.

Search and Bulk Update

The Search and Bulk Update features are now combined, allowing you to easily toggle between the two features from the Page Options menu. This feature includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1399]-Fixed an issue where the items per page arrow on Bulk Update moved when a modal was opened and then canceled.

• [KYB-1450]-The following improvements were made to the way category facets display:

  • Category names that start with an uppercase letter now appear before category names that start with a lowercase letter, for example, "Apples" before "apples."

  • Category values no longer require the first letter to be uppercase.

  • Long category names and category values now wrap as expected.

  • Associated category name now displays when you hover over the faceted category value.

• [KYB-1583]-Fixed an issue where Supporting Documentation on the Search preview page did not appear for Systems and Data Sets.

Enhancements

• The facets panel, which provides the ability to filter assets, is now available for Bulk Update. If Bulk Update was initiated through Search, any facets applied during the search are carried over to Bulk Update and can be updated on the Bulk Update page.

• The Bulk Update page now contains a link to Search, allowing you to easily toggle between Search results and Bulk Update results.

• The following enhancements were made to the Mission and Vision search preview panels:

  • The Program Name is now included so that you can distinguish between corporate and government program level mission and vision statements.

  • The Business Glossary and Policy Management sections were removed since they did not contain content.

• The following enhancements were made to the Initiatives and Goals search preview panels:

  • The Program Name is now included so that you can distinguish between corporate and government program level initiatives and goals.

  • The Asset ID is now included.

  • The Supporting Goals, Business Glossary and Policy Management sections have been removed since they did not contain content.

• The following enhancements were made to the Policy search preview panel:

  • The Start/End Date field was removed because it was a duplicate field.

  • The Start Date and End Date fields are now vertically aligned for aesthetic consistency.

• Supporting Documentation was added to the Terms search preview panel.

Improved User Interface

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1595]- Fixed an issue that occurred when you created or edited assets. After clicking the Save button to save changes, the button remained active and you could click it multiple times, even though additional changes had not been made to the asset details. With the fix, the Save button is only active after edits have been made to asset details.

• [KYB-1545]-Fixed an issue that allowed you to create duplicate assets by clicking the Create button multiple times. With the fix, the Create button is disabled after one click, and only one asset is created.

• [KYB-1580]-Fixed an issue with notifications in regards to navigation to strategy assets. When navigating from a notification to a strategy asset (Vision, Mission, Goal or Initiative) the company or program level of the asset was not respected and therefore the navigation could fail. Now the you are correctly directed to the asset and the respective company or program level is selected within the Strategy component.

• [KYB-1543]-Fixed an issue related to deleted users and data sets. If a user was assigned to a data set field and then was deleted, the user remained assigned to the data set field and this assignment could not be changed. With the fix, deleted users are removed from their data set field assignments and new users can be assigned.

• [KYB-1535]-Fixed an issue that occurred after performing a search on the Add Fields to Data Set page. A message displayed when you attempted to navigate away from the page, even though the only action taken on the page was a search. With the fix, performing a search then navigating away from the page does not cause this error to display.

• [KYB-1536]-Fixed an issue that occurred when adding a field from a new system to a Data Set, or when deleting a field that resulted in no remaining fields from that system. The count of systems on the Overview tab did not correctly increment until the page was refreshed. With the fix, the system count on the Overview tab reflects the correct number of systems in these scenarios.

• [KYB-1010]-An issue occurred when adding term relationships to rules where only the alphabetically first term added to a rule appeared on the Terms tab. With this fix, all term relationships added to rules display on the Terms tab.

Enhancements

• Updated various spacing issues that were introduced with the Viewer role.

• Previously, if you searched on a field on the Add Fields tab and results of the search displayed, those search results and filters were not retained if you navigated to other tabs. With this enhancement, filters and search results are maintained on the Add Fields tab if you navigated to other tabs.

• On the Add Fields tab, the Search fields tabs (Find Fields by System and Find Fields by Name and Location) have been changed to autocomplete combo boxes to help you narrow down your searches.

• When you encountered a problem when searching for fields on the Add Fields tab, the message that displays indicates that a problem has occurred. Prior to this fix, the message that displayed indicated that no search results were found.

• The Additional Information field for Terms has been updated to allow an unlimited number of characters so that you can add documents, with formatting, to a term.

• The following enhancements have been made to the navigation panel on the right:

  • Icons are left aligned and positioned consistently.

  • When you click an icon, the page opens consistently, displaying the search results of applying a filtered search on that asset.

  • The Reporting section contains links to the two dashboards, Direction dashboard (CDO Dash) and Migration dashboard (Syniti Dash).

  • The Jump to section contains Accounts, Sites, Categories, and Bulk Update, and the icons display depending on your permissions.

  • The Accounts icon is a new icon in the Jump To section. If you are an Administrator, the Admininstor pages open when you click the icon. If you are not an Administrator, the About Me page opens when you click the icon.

  • The Jump To section contains a new icon called Sites.

  • If you click an icon in the Strategy section and no records exists for that asset, a blank page opens that allows you to add an asset

  • If multiple goals or initiatives exist, the top goal or initiative opens when you click the icon.

  • Strategy assets have been added to the Quick Search filter.

Additional Updates

Enhancement

The URL for notifications sent from the Knowledge Tier has been updated. All URLs in email notifications sent prior to 12/04/2020 will no longer resolve. New emails and in-app notifications are sent using the new URL naming convention.

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1607]-An issue has been fixed when creating a new term, system or data set while currently viewing another assets relationship tab: instead of being navigated to the Relationships tab on the new asset, you are now navigated to the Overview tab correctly.

• [KYB-1569]-An issue has been fixed when navigating to strategy assets from Search. Previously, when selecting a strategy asset from the Search page, the Knowledge Tier only correctly navigated to the asset if you had previously selected the correct strategy program level; otherwise, the strategy assets would not be shown. With this fix, the program level is correctly changed and the strategy asset is displayed.

• [KYB-1601]-When creating a new initiate, Timeframe is no longer marked as a required field.

• [KYB-1176]-Fixed an issue with the Strategy landing page for Director personas. When Director personas click the Strategy icon, they now are brought to the same page as Default and Migration personas.
