Enhancement

When creating dashboards, there is often a requirement to be able to restrict dashboard data based on user. This may be to focus users on specific data relevant to them or to ensure that data privacy rules are not breached. To solve this problem, dashboard authors now have access to a User List button to the Syniti Dashboard Builder that allows users with author permissions to download a CSV file list of the Custom Dashboard authors in their tenant. This data can be downloaded into a CSV file, imported into a MS SQL Server table, and then used in the datasets. Refer to the Download a list of Custom Dashboard authors section of Custom Dashboards 201 for more information.

Enhancements

  • To improve the user experience when navigating to specific pages, we have implemented the use of cookies to allow a smooth redirection experience. Once you attempt to navigate to any page while your session has expired or while not logged in, a cookie is made that saves the information needed to navigate back to your intended target page. Once you log in, you will be redirected to the target page. If you do not log in within 4 minutes, the cookie will expire and you will be directed to your landing page instead of the target page you attempted to access.

  • Previously, the X icon was used to both delete an existing comment and to cancel the editing of a comment. To ease this confusion, the X icon has been changed to a trash bin for deleting a comment.

Bug Fixes

  • [KYB-1987]-Fixed an issue with the type of notification sent to all users (sponsors and reviewers) assigned to an asset when that asset was endorsed. The notification that the asset was contested was sent in error. With the fix, when an asset is endorsed, no notifications are sent until the asset is moved to an accepted status then the correct notification type is sent to all users associated with the asset.

  • [KYB-1834]-To improve usability and consistency, the look and feel of the sidebar used during the endorsement workflow process has been updated to match the sidebar used throughout the application.

Bug Fix

[KYB-1984]-An issue occurred with how an asset moved through the endorsement workflow. Assets that had not yet met their acceptance requirement of 51% were displaying as Accepted when they should have displayed as Review. For example, if an asset had four reviewers, and the asset had been endorsed by two of the reviewers, the asset showed as Accepted when it should have remained in Review status. With the fix, the Asset remains in the correct status until the 51% endorsement status is met.

Note

This was a fix to how the data displayed on the page. The underlying stored data was correct.

  • [KYB-1873]-Fixed an issue when using Chrome where links from an asset to the strategy goal and/or initiative led to a blocked link.

  • [KYB-1943]-Added a space before the date that displays in the version dropdown and the details for a version when you click the View More link beneath the version name.

  • [KYB-1953]-Fixed an issue where repeated column names displayed instead of metadata on the Fields tab of a term.

02/05/2021

Bug Fix

[KYB-1814]-Fixed an intermittent issue where clicking an asset from the search results page navigated you to the correct page; however, the page was blank.

Enhancement

Updates were made to the UI to ensure consistent aesthetics and behavior across multiple features. As a result, editing and deleting assets has been improved.

02/03/2021

Bug Fixes

  • [KYB-1414]-Fixed an issue related to navigation from a notification that alerted you to an update in an asset's comment. Previously, if you clicked the link displayed on this notification, the asset details page displayed. It displayed the latest version of the asset without focusing on the updated comment. Now, when you click the link on the notification, the version of the asset that contains the comment displays, with the comment that caused the notification to be sent in focus.

  • [KYB-1940]-Fixed an issue with category value names that allowed you to add the same value with different cases and save these as different values. For example, you could add the value Project and project, and the SKT would save these as two distinct category values. Category values must be unique, and with the fix, you cannot add the same value using a different case.

Bug Fix

[KYB-1011]-Fixed an issue that occurred when you tried to create a relationship between two terms, one of which was included in the list of Deep Guidance suggested terms while viewing a term's asset details page. The Deep Guidance term was not available in the list box on the Terms tab and could not be added to the term through the Deep Guidance panel either. With the fix, you can add Deep Guidance suggested terms to terms as expected through the Deep Guidance panel or on the asset detail's Terms tab.
