Enhancement

When you exit the SKT and then you log back in, the page you were last working on displays. In previous versions, your default home page, set based on your persona, displayed regardless of the page you were working on when you exited SKT. To return to your default home page in this case, click the Syniti logo in the upper left.

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1848]-Fixed an issue where certain "is part of" and "has a" relationships were not correctly labeled. For example, the relationship for Term A to Term B is "is part of" and the inverse relationship of Term B to Term A used to be "is part of." Now, the inverse relationship is correctly labeled as "has a." This issue is fixed for all new relationships added; existing relationships must be manually updated to reflect the inverse relationship.

• [KYB-1249]-Previously, if you clicked a URL to a specific page in the Knowledge Tier and you were not already logged in, you were prompted to log in and then directed to the landing page instead of the page designated in the URL. This issue has been fixed.

Enhancements

We've made some updates to the endorsement flow to increase usability including:

• Added a search icon to the reviewers text box that displays when you click Config Approval Flow

• Added a selected reviewer to the reviewer list when you click the check box next to that reviewer's name

• Updated the color of the Endorsed and Contested text from orange to gray when you review the endorsement history

Bug Fix

[KYB-1828]-The As Of date on the Sites page has been truncated to the format of YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS, eliminating the extraneous seconds decimal places.

Enhancement

If you have permission to edit an asset, you can delete it whether it has been published, is in review status, or is in draft status. All published versions and the draft version of the asset are deleted, and this action cannot be undone.

We have added a system status page for the Knowledge Tier to inform users if outages occur. Check http://synitistatus.com/ for current system status.

Enhancement

We have removed the Quick Add modal from terms, systems and data sets to streamline the process when adding these assets. When you click the plus sign (Add) icon on the Home page, the asset details page opens for these assets.

Bug Fix

[KYB-1751]-Fixed an issue that prevented users from adding Supporting Documentation to an asset. This field requires an absolute URL that starts with https:// or http://, and if the user didn't format the URL correctly, the error "Error updating term" displayed. With the fix, the Paste URL field's required formatting displays in the watermark in the field, and an error displays if the user attempts to enter a URL that does not start with https:// or http://.

New Feature

We are excited to provide you with a new tool to troubleshoot errors between the Knowledge Tier and Reporting and Metrics sites. On the Sites page, you can now view the status of a Site with respect to the performance of the agent that connects the Knowledge Tier to Stewardship Tier instance and access the details of any errors raised in the last 48 hours. Refer to the View agent error logs section in the Add a Site topic for more information.

Enhancement

We are announcing an updated endorsement flow that works with our versioning system. This updated flow allows you to work with draft versions and configure reviewers, including required reviewers, who must endorse the asset for it to move from draft version to published version. Once you send the asset for review, reviewers are notified that they have assets waiting to be evaluated. Refer to Work with Asset Versions and the Endorsement Workflow for more information.

Bug Fix

[KYB-1747]-Fixed an issue that generated an error message when larger amounts (three or more) of relationships were added or deleted at once.

Enhancement

We’ve updated functionality around deleting categories and category values. If a category value is assigned to any version of an asset (published or draft), the value and its category cannot be deleted for auditing purposes. The delete button does not display for the category and value in this scenario.

• [KYB-1778]- Fixed an issue that prevented you from creating a mission in a brand-new tenant. Instead of receiving a successful save message, you were redirected to the Login page.

• [KYB-1777]-Fixed an issue that prevented you from creating a vision in a brand-new tenant. Instead of receiving a successful save message, you were redirected to the Login page.

• [KYB-1763]-Fixed an issue that prevented Admin and Business User roles from adding category values. The "Failed to Update Category: Internal Server Error" no longer displays and you can now successfully add a category value.

Bug Fixes

• [KYB-1757]-Fixed an issue where the endorsement status of an asset was not honored in search results.

• [KYB-1695]-Fixed an issue where the Add icon was visible to Viewer roles using SSO login to add an asset, even though by definition, this role is unable to add assets.
