Assign Categories

Assets can be sorted into logical groups called categories. Categories help organize data into meaningful groups that can help you by offering insights, improving accessibility, and streamlining workflow.
To assign a category to an asset:
Click the More actions ellipses.
Select Edit.
Select a category from the Category list box.
Select a value from the Category Value list box. Check multiple boxes to apply multiple values.
Click Save.
To remove a category or values from an asset:
Click the Remove category icon.
Click Save.
With Bulk Edit, you can filter a list of assets on the Search Results page to be updated with values that you select including:
Owner
SMEs/Stakeholders
Categories and values
View assets with applied category value
To view assets associated with a category value:
Verify you’re in the Admin module of the SKP.
Or
Select Admin from the Profile menu to navigate to the Admin module of the SKP.
Under Business Settings, select Categories in the Admin menu.
Select a category.
Under Usage, click the X Assets link corresponding to a category value; the Search Results page launches with filtered results.
Note
X is the number of assets associated with the category value.
