Data Quality thresholds can be set in the administration section of the Syniti Knowledge Platform. A Data Quality threshold has a Name, Warning threshold and Critical threshold.
Data Quality thresholds can be assigned to subject areas, business processes, business concepts (terms), and rules. Enforcements and implementations inherit the Data Quality threshold from their parent rule.
Using these thresholds, the Syniti Knowledge Platform:
Color codes charts and visuals to indicate data health at a glance.
If the data quality score is above the Warning threshold the color is Green
If the data quality score is equal to the Warning threshold but above the Critical Threshold it’s Amber
If the data quality score is equal to or below the Critical threshold it’s Red
Sends Data Quality threshold violation notifications to relevant users
Notifications
The Syniti Knowledge Platform sends a range of data quality-related notifications when designated users are maintaining assets or when data quality rules are executed.
Notifications are sent to:
Users who are assigned or unassigned as Requesters on an enforcement
Users who are assigned or unassigned as an Implementer on an enforcement
Users who are assigned or unassigned as an Implementer on an implementation
Users who are assigned to Notify on Failure when an implementation execution fails
Regarding data quality score calculations, rules, subject areas, business processes and business concepts send notification to asset owners and subject matter experts when:
There was no previous data quality score and the asset’s initial data quality score is in the warning zone
A data quality score previously in the normal zone drops into the warning zone

Subscribing to Reports
Daily and weekly summaries of reports related to subject areas are available to users with access to Data Quality reports. These summary of reports eliminates the need for users to access the Data Quality Reports page regularly to analyze the status of the reports. The summary includes the top 10 reports by lowest Data Quality Score.
You can subscribe to a daily or weekly report summary by clicking the Subscribe icon at the top of the Data Quality Reports page. An email notification including the report details will be delivered to the email address associated with your user account on designated basis.
