Syniti Replicate supports use of Actian Vector for:
Prerequisites
Download and install the DBA Administration Tool on the Syniti Replicate system. Click here to download.
Connection String
When setting up Actian Vector for use with Syniti Replicate, connection strings for the Actian driver should be:
Server=100.111.1.2:VW7;UID=admin;PWD=********;Database=syniti;
where VW7 is the default port for Actian.
Permissions
When setting up replications that use Actian Vector as either a source or target database, you need to ensure that the User ID used for establishing connections to the database has sufficient privileges to complete all the operations required for Syniti Replicate to perform a replication, a DBA level permission is recommended.
Limitations
Syniti Replicate supports Actian Vector running on Microsoft Windows.
Actian vector is not supported in transactional mode as source system.
