The address verification module is designed to verify address data for validation, allowing you to review suggested corrections and configure automatic approval thresholds based on match level. By ensuring addresses are valid, complete, and standardized, this module significantly improves match accuracy and enhances overall data quality.

When you open the Address Verification module, the Address Verification Home page displays. Here, you can review all address verification jobs you have access to, as defined by any security profiles assigned to the address verification jobs. Refer to Security Profiles for more details on how security profiles are used across the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).

How to Use This Page

From this page, you can:

Review Basic Job Details

Each available address verification job displays in the Address Verification grid, along with the basic details of that job. This grid places the most important details of each job in easy view, allowing you to quickly locate jobs that require attention. The following details are displayed here:

  • Status—The current status of the address verification job.

    • Completed—The latest run of the address verification job has completed without errors.

    • Data Loaded—The data for the address verification job has been loaded into the system and the job is ready to be run.

    • Import Error—The import of the datasource for the address verification job has failed. Edit the job to change the datasource.

    • Error—The latest run of the address verification job resulted in an error.

  • Name—The name of the address verification job.

  • Description—The description of the address verification job.

  • Total Count—The total number of records in the job.

  • Processed—The total number of addresses processed.

  • Auto-approved—The total number of addresses automatically approved on the run of the job.

  • In Review—The total number of addresses still in review (not approved).

  • Approved—The total number of addresses manually approved.

Validation Credits

Validation credits are used for each record processed in an address verification job run. The available credits display at the top of this page. It is important to note that running or rerunning an address verification job affects the available validation credits differently depending on the situation. For example, if an address verification job’s Match Level settings are edited after the initial run of the job, the results are altered after rerunning the job and do not use validation credits. Only records with input data changes are resubmitted to the addressing engine on the rerun of the job and use validation credits. Additionally, if the Use Geocoding setting is turned on after the initial run of the address verification job, all records are resubmitted to the addressing engine on the rerun of the job, resulting in validation credits being used for all job records.

If the run of an address verification job exceeds the available validation credits, the job run results in an error.

Contact your account manager or Syniti Support for information on available validation credits.
