Overview
In legacy Construct, validation and business rules of an event could have an Event External Reference property that linked those rules to the Rule asset in the SKP Catalog module or external documentation. This property allowed WebApp Designers to maintain traceability and connect page elements to their source documentation and business context.
Cloud Construct does not have this feature, but you can use the SKP Catalog module’s dataset feature to add relevant business contexts, maintain dataset relationships, and add detailed comments and reference information directly.
Updated Methodology
Validation and business rules of an event can now be registered as separate datasets, associated with the same datastore that the construct page and its container use.
Access these datasets and add relevant business contexts using the Comments tab, maintain dataset relationships, and document the usage and reference information for the validation or business rule.
