IBM Db2 for z/OS Settings Overview

Syniti Replicate supports use of IBM Db2 for z/OS for:

• Refresh replications, both source and target

• Mirroring replications, both source and target. For source connections, Syniti Replicate offers triggers

• Synchronization

For mirroring replications using triggers, set up your IBM Db2 for z/OS environment as follows:

• Use Db2  for OS390 v6 or higher

• Obtain package creation privileges for the first connection (DBMS tools)

• Set security mechanism in Syniti Replicate ( Management Center)
