When you first download Syniti Replicate, you should receive your Syniti Replicate evaluation license via email. The email consists of a text message with your company name and license key. A license file called SynitiDR_company.txt is attached to the email.
During installation of Syniti Replicate, you are required to supply the pathname to the license file.
If at any time you need to update your license (typically when you purchase Syniti Replicate and receive a permanent license), you can use the License Information dialog in the Management Center. Note that you must always have a single valid license file for Syniti Replicate. New license files should contain ALL your license details. Therefore, when you import a new license file, it will replace the previous license file.
In the Management Center Metadata Explorer, select the server for which you want to modify the license.
From the right mouse button menu, choose Manage Licenses.
In the License Information dialog, click Import License.
In the new dialog, provide the pathname to the license file (dbmotolicense_company.txt) you received via email.
Click OK to close the dialog.
Verify your new license in the License Information dialog.
If the license key is not valid, double-check that you have entered all information correctly. Contact the support team via the Help Center if you encounter further problems.
To view existing license information at any time:
In the Management Center Metadata Explorer, select the server for which you want to modify the license.
From the right mouse button menu, choose Manage Licenses.
Click Export to print all license information to a file.
