Retirement Announcements
With this release, Syniti Replicate Desktop officially retires the Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition (CE) database system and is no longer supported for replication purposes. All functionality related to Microsoft SQL Server CE has been deprecated and will not receive further maintenance or updates.

We’ve enhanced the security of data exchange between the Syniti Knowledge Platform and Syniti Replicate Desktop. All requests and responses are now protected using SSL encryption and HMAC authentication, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of the communication. This update strengthens data protection measures and aligns with industry-standard security practices.

General Updates
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable application, we have removed the integrated code of the Progress Telerik UI package from the application following a critical security advisory issued by Progress Software Corporation. The advisory disclosed a potential code execution attack is possible through an insecure deserialization vulnerability. Refer to NVD - CVE-2024-10095 for more information.
With this release, the Dashboard Statistics tab has been deprecated and is no longer accessible.We fixed an issue when setting up Email Alerts using a distribution list. Previously, Syniti Replicate displayed an error message while handling distribution list addresses, which could prevent alerts from being sent as expected.
We fixed the “Length cannot be less than zero” error when performing Bulk Insert operations in Mirroring replications from Microsoft SQL Server to MySQL.
We fixed an issue where a ReadLock Timeout might occur during an active session between the Syniti Knowledge Platform and the Server Agent. This fix ensures more stable and reliable session connectivity.
We fixed an issue where the Replication Logs page in the Syniti Knowledge Platform would error out when tab characters were present in a a replication’s target_filter query.
We fixed an issue introduced in Syniti Replicate v11.0.0.9 that impacted the ETL Jobs Execution functionality, which was working as expected in earlier versions. This issue has been resolved in the current release version v11.0.0.15.
We fixed an issue where removing the String Separator parameter from Replication Properties > Preferences caused the replication to .csv flat files to be automatically disabled.
