Here are highlights of the significant changes in Syniti Replicate v11.0.1.2.
Enhancements
SAP Data Provider
The Trim Strings property is now available in the SAP system connections to decide how leading and trailing spaces are handled on extracted string data. By default, this property is set to TrimAll.
General Updates
Syniti Replicate now commits database changes immediately instead of queuing them for scheduled commits. This enhancement minimizes the risk of data loss, duplication, or metadata corruption from unflushed transactions and improves data consistency.
This improvement is critical to avoid metadata corruption in Syniti Replicate when users create replications from Snapshot Management, Orchestrate, or directly on the Remote Management Center.
Bug Fixes
Replication Hub
We fixed an issue where source connections in Management Center were not appearing in the Syniti Knowledge Platform > Replicate > Monitor page’s Source search filter.
SAP Data Provider
We fixed an issue where running streaming extractions from multiple Message Servers would fail, causing one server extraction to hang with errors. This issue occurred when both connections had the same Destination Name and Program ID.
General Updates
We fixed an issue where SAP’s standard data types were not being recognized during metadata scans.
We fixed an issue where the metadata scan for an SAP NetWeaver ECC connection was returning the following error when scanning certain long text tables: A dynamically specified column name is unknown.
We fixed an issue where RFC connections remained open on the SAP system after replication completed. Connections are now properly closed when replication finishes.
We fixed an issue where table column information was not being retrieved from SAP HANA source connections using the .NET driver.
Note
Other bug fixes and performance improvements can also be observed in Syniti Replicate v11.0.1.2.
