Note

We’ve made updates to Syniti Match to enhance your experience. With these improvements, setup in the Admin module is no longer required. Existing Templates will still be supported, but creating new templates is no longer possible. You can now create Match jobs directly from Syniti Match without any need for prior setup in the Admin module.

Match allows an instance of Syniti Match Desktop that is installed in your desktop to connect to Syniti Match in the cloud. Templates must be associated with a Match job to run the job.

Templates are set up on the Templates page in Admin > Match > Templates. This page displays the details of templates sent to Syniti Match from the Syniti Match Desktop. These templates contain the datasource connections and configured tasks and settings necessary to run a job in Syniti Match.

Template details on this page include:

  • Name— The name given to the template during the setup of the template.

  • Template Owner— The name of the Syniti Match Desktop user who set up the template.

  • Description— The description used when setting up the template.

  • Jobs Using Template— The number of Match jobs using this template.

Use the Edit and Delete icons in the Actions column to edit or delete a template. All templates can be edited to update the Name, Description, and associated users. However, you must add templates in Syniti Match Desktop; templates cannot be added in Syniti Match.

Note

Deleting a template also deletes any Match jobs associated with the service.
