About Column Translations

Descriptions for the target system fields captured on reports are maintained within this page. It provides a translation of the target system field names to the corresponding text by Language Code. This offers an opportunity for the client to implement their own translations for target system defined fields as well as allowing for naming of fields for specific reports using global translations.

The rows of phrases are built from the tables used in mappings and reporting. An asterisk (*) in the Report Name indicates that the column translations apply to all documents on-line or exported that contain the field.

View the following page by navigating to Migrate > Column Translations from the Syniti Migrate Homepage.

Internationalization Translations

Syniti Migrate allows for use of multiple languages that can be assigned to a user with a default language key. Refer to section Migration User Interface > My Profile for details of setting the user default language key.

Within Column Translations, the international language translations are stored at the Page Object Type level. Several languages are included within the system including English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Russian. International translations continue to expand in languages for use.
