For increased security, you may want to run connectors that support the Syniti Knowledge Platform through a proxy server. To make this possible, you will need to update the proxy URL for the platform you choose to manage your proxy connections. Some connectors have certain proxying requirements.
Run the Metrics and Reporting Connector through a Proxy Server
The Metrics and Reporting connector supports SOCKS5 proxying. To configure the proxy connection, you will need to complete the following steps:
Get a trusted SOCKS5 proxy CA certificate.
Add the proxy CA certificate as a trusted connection to your system.
Set the HTTP_PROXY environment variable to the url of the proxy server.
Test the connection between the proxy server and the Metrics and Reporting connector.
