Syniti is back with another release. This release improves performance and reliability in Construct when working with large datasets and complex WebApps, including updates to list filtering and data export capabilities. Syniti Replicate Desktop also includes a new patch release.

Bug Fixes
Construct
We fixed the List Over Limit issue where the List Source dropdown in Page Columns configuration failed to display all available list views when the Construct database contained a large number of tables and views. The dropdown now supports type-ahead search, allowing users to locate and select views that fall outside the default display limit.
A configurable List Record Limit parameter is now available under Admin > Configuration > Parameters > Page Parameters, allowing administrators to update the default list box value display limit. However, increasing this parameter’s value beyond 3000 may affect performance when selecting list box values.
We fixed an issue where Excel Integration downloads failed on Construct pages with a large volume of records when SQL formatting was applied to a Text Area column.
We fixed an issue where converting a WebApp that used more than 50 distinct tables or views required the user to manually navigate to the and save the WebApp to complete the conversion process. The conversion now completes fully without requiring any additional manual steps.
We fixed WebApp conversion process failures when fetching metadata for large WebApps with many schema parameters, and when re-running the process exceeded 30 seconds.
Replicate Desktop
Syniti Replicate v11.0.1.17 patch release is now available. Refer to Syniti Replicate v11.0.1.17 - Patch Release for more information.

Syniti is back with another release. This release brings enhanced System View management in Migrate with individual builds to reduce build time, expands Replicate Preview with global mapping rules for streamlined configuration, HTTPS connectivity for SAP systems, and support for Oracle and SAP HANA synonyms as replication targets. This release also includes important accessibility improvements, critical bug fixes for data export and import workflows, and resolved issues affecting system stability and user experience across multiple modules.

Deprecations
Migrate
SAP Data Services ETL Tool Deprecated
The SAP Data Services ETL tool has been deprecated. Organizations using SAP Data Services should plan their migration to use Syniti Migrate, the recommended tool for all ETL operations.
What's Changing:
SAP Data Services is no longer recommended for new implementations
New migration projects must use the Syniti Migrate ETL tool
Existing SAP Data Services implementations continue to receive support
Enhancements
Migrate
You can now build a single System View individually from the System Views grid instead of rebuilding all views at once. Clicking the new Build button on a view row queues a job to rebuild only that specific view against the target system, reducing build time and avoiding disruption to other users.
Additionally, the existing "Build View" toggle column has been renamed to "Active/Inactive" to better reflect its purpose of controlling inclusion in bulk builds.
The Execute Cloud Replication (Preview) task type is now available in Migrate > ETL Jobs, enabling you to execute replication jobs via Replicate Preview directly within ETL workflows.
Replicate Preview
You can now configure platform-level (global) mapping rules in the Admin module to define default field mappings based on source and target data type patterns. These rules are automatically applied when creating or executing a replication, reducing manual mapping effort.
Refer to Datatype Translation Rules for more information.Replicate Preview now supports data extraction from SAP systems using Internet Communication Framework (ICF) services exposed over HTTPS. This enables secure and efficient access to SAP business data without requiring direct database connectivity. SAP systems are supported as sources in Snapshot (refresh) replication mode.
Refer to SAP NetWeaver via HTTPS Connection for more information.Replicate Preview now supports Oracle and SAP HANA synonyms as replication targets, enabling synonym-based data staging workflows.
Replicate Preview now supports Oracle ODBC Instant Client 10.2, enabling connectivity to legacy Oracle 9i and 10g R2 databases.
A new Source Filter column is now available in the Replication panel, allowing you to quickly view source filter information for each replication. This column is hidden by default but can be made visible using column menu options.
Bug Fixes
Cloud Construct
We fixed an issue where clicking the Help icon in the header bar displayed the page help temporarily, preventing users from interacting with or reading it.
Migrate
We fixed an issue where exporting Value Mappings did not concatenate the Legacy Value with the Legacy Description in the Target Value column, resulting in incomplete data in the exported file.
We fixed an issue where the ETL Update Rule incorrectly matched view columns containing an underscore (for example, FIELD_NEW) to target table fields, causing unintended data updates. The system now ignores <FIELD>_NEW references and only matches the <FIELD>NEW naming convention during the Update Rule process.
We fixed the following accessibility issues affecting slider and keyboard focus controls:
Slider controls now display descriptive text labels so screen readers can announce their purpose to users with assistive technology, and they meet the minimum 3:1 contrast ratio against their background for users with low vision.
Keyboard focus outlines now maintain the required 3:1 contrast ratio against the adjacent background, making it easier for keyboard-only users to identify which element is currently active.
We fixed an issue where new SKP users with Migrate Administrator access could not see the Migrate module or encountered a "An error occurred during login. Please try again." error when attempting to access it, due to domain and email address validation issues during user sync.
We fixed an issue where the Copy Release process could fail midway if milestone dates fell outside the new release date range, leaving the system in a partially copied state. The system now validates milestone and release date alignment before starting the copy, and supports re-execution if a failure occurs.
We fixed an issue in System Views where duplicate Target Systems with the same key (Target Datastore/Environment/Schema) could be added to a Subject Area. The system now enforces uniqueness for Target System entries.
We fixed an issue where the migrate.syn_safe_alter_column procedure failed in PostgreSQL when processing non-text data types, resulting in a syn_postload_compare function not found error.
We fixed an issue where the Rulebook report in Deployment Reports displayed entries from multiple deployments instead of only the selected deployment.
We fixed an issue where configured translation rules (for example, SAPNETWEAVER to PostgreSQL: NUMC to Varchar) were not applied during complex SQL view generation, causing PostgreSQL errors such as type "numc" does not exist. The complex rule SQL generation now references and applies the configured translation mappings when emitting CAST statements.
Replicate Preview
We fixed an issue where Carriage Return Line Feed (CRLF) characters in source data caused File Export replications to fail or not complete.
We fixed a schema mismatch issue where Long Text Query execution referenced an incorrect database schema, causing replication failures. For SAP NetWeaver RFC connections, Replicate Preview now gives precedence to connection-level schema and then to datastore-level schema.
Refer to Schema Mismatch with Multiple System Connections for more information.
We fixed an issue where exported files included double quotes around fields containing leading or trailing spaces, even when the Text Qualifier setting was set to None.
We fixed an issue where certain characters were not displaying properly after executing a File Import replication from Syniti Drive, causing them to appear as
?instead of their expected values. We fixed an issue where changes made using Map Explicit field mapping rule were ignored when refreshing a table.
We fixed an issue where uploading CSV files to Syniti Drive failed with an error, including files well within the documented 2 GB upload limit.
We fixed an issue in Migrate where configuring a Target Export Path in Administer > Setup > Parameters using an SFTP external drive’s subfolder did not correctly direct exported target files to the specified subfolder.
We fixed an issue where file encoding settings were not being honored during file export replications, causing errors with formats like UTF-8 or UTF-16. Replicate Preview was defaulting to a single format regardless of your choice. We've updated the user interface to ensure the selected encoding is correctly applied and validated during the replication process.
