New Features
Restart Cransoft/DSP Services
We have implemented the ability to restart Cransoft/DSP services hosted by Syniti in your Windows environment for unresponsive instances or instances requiring a restart. This feature can be found under the Connectivity section of the Admin menu.
Refer to Restart Cransoft/DSP for more information.
Single Sign-On
Note
This feature is now generally available.
You can now configure Single Sign-On (SSO) for the Syniti Knowledge Platform using your organization’s Identity Provider via SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect—all through a new self-service interface. This feature can be found under the Security section of the Admin menu.
Administrators can choose between Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 and OpenID Connect SSO protocols based on their organization’s security policy. This enhancement simplifies the process of configuring SSO, reducing the assistance required from Syniti Support.
Refer to Single Sign-On for more information.
Restart Replication Hub Services
Cloud Storage Option customers can now restart their Replication Hub service directly from the SKP Admin pages—no server access needed. This self-service feature allows you to recover unresponsive Replication Hub instances quickly, ensuring continuous secure connectivity between Syniti Replicate Desktop and the SKP.
Refer to Replication Hubs for more information.

Bug Fixes
We fixed an issue where the metadata scanning process failed with the following error messages
Timezone region not found.
The PidginCommand timeout was exceeded. A task was canceled.
We fixed an issue where metadata scans with schema specified as SAPR3 failed with the following error message: Unable to determine parent schema for SAP scan.
We fixed an issue where running queries to fetch tables or views for certain SQL Server connections resulted in the following error message: The server principal "SA_Syniti_SQL" is not able to access the database "sysdb" under the current security context.
We fixed an issue where the metadata scanning process failed with Datasphere connections.
We fixed an issue where performing bulk table imports in a Datastore resulted in failed metadata scans. With this fix, multiple scans will be initiated for a datastore when the number of database objects to be scanned exceeds 1,000. The database objects are divided into batches of 1,000, with up to six batches running concurrently.

Migrate
Enhancements
Sorting and filtering are now available on all column grids, including columns defined by icons, checkboxes, and toggles.
A Comment field is now available on the Rulebook report.
You can now view references that are totaled in all grids. The reference value in the grid is now a hyperlink that, when selected, displays a report with the reference details indicating the number of objects that actively use the snapshot table.
Preload reports are now part of the Target Readiness Reports ETL type. Rebuilding the ETL jobs at the Target Readiness Reports ETL type level generates preload reports for each Target Readiness Report.
Deprecations
Syniti no longer provides support for Oracle as a Working Database. As a result, Oracle has been removed from the list of available Working Database Types in Admin > Setup > Parameters. You will no longer be able to select Oracle as the Working Database for new or existing projects within this context.
Refer to Working Databases in Migrate to review the updated list of supported database types.
Bug Fixes
When importing tables, do not enable the Do Not Import toggle for a column that is marked as Deleted. Previously, an error occurred when a column had both the Do Not Import toggle enabled and was marked as Deleted.
We fixed an issue where downloading Segmented reports produced mixed segmented values that did not match the data shown in the UI.
We fixed an issue in Validate > Deployment Reports where viewing reports from the Report Types panel for a dataset may display incorrect reports.
We fixed an issue where blank lines were displayed in the Vendor report view if the Region was left blank.
We fixed an issue where selecting a job on the Job Queue page and then selecting the Debug icon for a step of the highlighted job displayed the debug log of the last viewed job.
We fixed an issue where the creation of a new system datasource resulted in the selection of an environment for that datasource.
We fixed an issue where the Translation Rules counters for the SAPNETWEAVER Database Type on the Data Type Translations tab at Administer > Advanced > Database Types displayed zero rules, even if rules existed.
We fixed an issue where the first row was skipped when downloading a System report at Monitor > System Reports.
We fixed an issue where headers were not rendering correctly on the Dataset and Mapping Import page.
We fixed an issue where Orchestrate tasks for an ETL Task Type showed a status of Success when no records were processed and error text was not found.
We fixed an issue where changes to the description on the edit of a Check Table from Administer > Advanced > Value Mapping Config were not retained on save.
We fixed an issue where building or copying ETL objects between environments resulted in the following error: The field EtlName must be a string with a maximum length of 100. The ETL Name length has been increased from 100 characters to 225 characters.
We fixed an issue where selecting the Migration Reports menu item from the Validation menu for users with View Migration Reports w/o Download security access resulted in an error.
We fixed an issue where users with view-only access to Migration reports could access Migration reports from the Reports link on the Syniti Knowledge Platform home page.
We fixed an issue where importing reports or ETL when the release had a set Security Profile resulted in an error.
We fixed an issue where PMO Dashboard information did not display, and metrics execution failed when a Target with a forward slash (/) character was present in the name.
We fixed an issue where the first line of details on the percentage results for a dataset at Monitor > Metric Scorecard was blank.
