The Logs page serves as a centralized troubleshooting tool, enabling Administrators to diagnose and resolve common issues related to SQL queries, connectivity problems, and page design across WebApps.
Note
You must be an Administrator to access the Logs page.
On a published construct page, click More Actions (…) > View Logs to view log messages filtered to that specific page.
Currently, the Logs page is read-only and displays the information shown in the following table:
Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
Log Level | Indicates the severity of a recorded log, categorized into one of the following levels:
|
Error Type | Specifies the nature of the issue encountered, such as issues related to SQL queries, connectivity problems, and page design. |
WebApp - Page | Identifies the affected page that generated the log entry. Click a record to access the page in the WebApp Builder. |
User | Records the user associated with the logged activity. Hover over a record to view the user’s email ID. |
Error Message | Provides information about the specific issue. Double-click a log message to view its complete details. |
Added On | Timestamp of the log recorded. |
Actions | Currently, you can select View Error Details to see the complete log message, including the error level and type, WebApp and page information, user details, and any available technical information. |

Actions column > View Error Details: Complete Log Message
Field-specific filtering options are available through filter icons. Sorting and multi-field sorting can also be applied, but only on supported columns.
Logs Retention
Construct Preview uses a tiered log retention strategy to balance performance with issue resolution needs. Logs with higher levels (severity) are retained for a longer period to ensure sufficient time for investigation, while less critical logs are kept only as long as necessary to support routine troubleshooting.
Critical and Error Logs are stored for 10 days before being automatically deleted.
All other log types are retained for 2 days.

This article covers the current functionality of the Logs page in Construct Preview. For issues that cannot be resolved using the available log information, contact Syniti Support.
