Catalog

Fixed the following issues with the rich text edit feature:

• /n (Newline) characters displayed incorrectly

• <> characters displayed as &lt; and &gt;.

These characters now display correctly translated.

We are busy enhancing the Syniti Knowledge Platform, but nothing is ready for release just yet. Check back next week!

Enhancements

Syniti Knowledge Platform

Improvements to screen reader capabilities have been made throughout the Syniti Knowledge Platform. These improvements include, but are not limited to:

• Added accessibility labels to the Filter panel expanded / collapsed states on the Search page

• Added proper announcement of the Help icon in the header bar

• Added proper announcement of fields on the Add Relationships table

• Added proper announcement of group labels on external contacts and attributes

• Added proper announcement of toggle field labels

Catalog

Assets within the Catalog component of the Syniti Knowledge Platform now utilize a rich text editor in replacement of the markdown editor formatting for the following asset attributes:

• Term-Definition and Additional Information

• Rule-Implication and Additional Information

• Policy-Definition and Purpose

• Dataset-Description and Purpose

• System-Description

• Goal-Description

• Initiative-Description

Migrate

When adding a Datasource Server, an option is available to Validate Certificate for encrypted connections. If this is toggled to Off, a value is added to the resulting connection string and the certificate validation is disabled.
