View Change History

You can access the Version History page to view the chronological change history for an asset.

Change history includes updates to all details of an asset except for updates to relationships and is available for the following assets:

• Dataset

• System

• Term

• Rule

• Policy

All users, regardless of role, can view the change history and compare versions.

For each version, the date the version was published and the user who made the update is listed.

On the Version History page you can:

• Navigate to the asset detail pages by clicking the asset name link.

• Click the Version link to open the asset for that version.

• Compare the changes made between any two versions, by clicking the check boxes for the two versions to compare, then clicking the Compare Versions button.

On the Compare Versions page, the asset’s details display along with the changes for each version.

On this page, you can:

• Navigate to the asset detail pages by clicking the asset name link.

• Navigate to the Version History page for the asset.

• View the changes between two versions of an asset.

Click the Only Show Changes check box to show only the differences between the versions.
