An SKP connector is the Syniti component that allows the Syniti Knowledge Platform to communicate with systems in your landscape. A single SKP connector can support metadata scanning, profiling and Cloud DQ functionality. One SKP connector can be connected to multiple systems. One system can be related to multiple SKP connectors (e.g., two separate SKP connectors: one for executing Cloud DQ and one for executing Cloud DM).
To register a Syniti Knowledge Platform connector:
Download the latest version of the SKP connector. Refer to the Knowledge Platform Connector: Security, Installation, Requirements & Troubleshooting knowledge base article for details on how to install and configure the SKP connector.
Log into the Syniti Knowledge Platform
Verify you’re in the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.
Or
Select Admin from the Profile menu to navigate to the Admin module of the Syniti Knowledge Platform.Under Connectivity, click SKP Connectors in the Admin menu.
Click the Register SKP connector button.
Enter a Name.
Enter the Public Key that was generated by the install process.
Click the Save button.
Click theTest connection button for the SKP Connector. The SKP connector polls the connection every minute so if the initial test fails, wait 1 minute and try again.
