Article summary

Note

Syniti Match is a cloud-native, multitenant solution that is not dependent on Syniti Match Desktop.

Match in the Syniti Knowledge Platform allows you to configure, execute, and review the results of a Syniti Match job. Match jobs are used to effectively match data by comparing all relevant data and using a variety of strategies to process a wide array of standard errors.

Match successfully identifies true matches while minimizing false matches in inconsistent, incomplete data. By comparing all relevant data and using a variety of strategies to deal with the wide array of hearing, reading, keying, and Lack of Standards errors typically found in contact records in most databases, Match can identify these errors and resolve them with human-like perception.

Match encourages the use of multiple Match keys so that it doesn’t rely on any single item of data always being consistent and present. The keys are tight enough to make sure that the volume of comparisons is reasonable, but loose enough to catch the records with typical errors and inconsistencies. These Match keys run quickly and efficiently on large volumes of data, comparing only records in common to warrant a closer look, not reporting those pairs that don’t reach the specified threshold, and ignoring records that don’t save enough similarity.
