Syniti is back with another release, featuring an update to the system datastores scanning workflow.

We’ve improved the table scanning workflow for system datastores. Now, when adding tables to SAP system datastores, they are automatically scanned on save using baseline SAP metadata. Once a connection is established, you can rescan tables to import your system’s specific metadata, including customizations. This enables early deployment of content for SAP systems not yet provisioned, streamlining initial project setup.

When adding tables to non-SAP system datastores, the tables are not automatically scanned. To automatically scan tables, a connection must first be set up on the parent datastore.

This feature is exclusive to SAP system datastores. Non-SAP system datastores require a connection to scan.

These enhancements simplify initial SAP system scans and ensure metadata accuracy for SAP environments.

The following chart types are now available for configuration:

  • Treemap: Visualize hierarchical data with part-to-whole relationships, portfolio composition, or nested category breakdowns

  • Sunburst: Explore multi-level hierarchical structures with nested proportions radiating from a central point

  • Bump: Track rank changes over time and compare competitive positions across periods

Refer to Chart Types for more information.

Enhancements

  • This release introduces improved security, retention, and management capabilities for Build Assist chats:

    • Build Assist in the WebApp Builder is now disabled if the Enable AI features parameter is not enabled in Admin > Parameters.

    • Build Assist stores chat histories securely in the database and isolates them per user and tenant.

    • Chat histories are retained for 96 hours (4 days) from the time of the last message.

    • Chats remain saved in the database until you delete them manually.

    • You can use Clear Messages to clean up the conversation history within a chat and start fresh.

    • You can view all previous chats from the Chats list.

    • You can now delete chats directly.

Refer to Build Assist for more information.

  • Construct Preview now supports internationalization, beginning with French and German, matching the languages currently available in the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP). As the SKP adds new languages in the future, Construct Preview will automatically support them to ensure a consistent multilingual experience.

Refer to the Edit My Account section to update your locale.

  • The Toolbox section and the Core Config card on the Construct Preview home page are now visible only to Administrators assigned to the Construct Admin role.

  • Clicking More Actions (...) > Configure Page in WebApp Builder on a construct page now opens the WebApp Builder configuration page in a new browser tab.
