Manage My Account

Once an Administrator has added your account, you can view and manage your account details. To navigate to your account details, click your user name in the top-right corner and select My Account or click the My Account tab on the Administration menu.

From the My Account page, you can view your basic account details such as name, email address, notification preferences, and associated user groups.

User Groups

You can view the user groups your user account belongs to on the User Groups tab of the My Account page. Search and filter the list of user groups using the Type (either Custom or System) and Search fields. User groups are managed in Admin Security by users with the appropriate permissions. Refer to Manage User Security for more details.

Notifications

You can view the Syniti Knowledge Platform notifications you have subscribed to on the Notifications tab of the My Account page. Basic details for the notification, including module, event, associated asset type, associated asset, and notification frequency are displayed in the grid. If an asset is associated with the notification, you can view the asset by clicking the link in the Asset column. Additionally, you can adjust the frequency of specific notifications using the Frequency list box.

If you wish to no longer receive a notification for a report or event, click the Delete icon.

Edit My Account

Once an administrator has added your account, you can update the settings for your profile.

To update your profile settings:

1. Click your user name in the top-right corner and select My Account or click the My Account tab on the Administration menu.

2. Click the More options menu and select Edit.

3. Update your Name as needed and if your authentication permits. No specific format is enforced, so use what works best for your organization.

   Note

   Email cannot be changed.

4. From the Locale list, select your local preference, which contains the date format.

5. Toggle the Receive Email Notifications option to the On position as needed.

   Note

   You can view notifications about changes, such as contests to your assets and requests to review when you are an SME of an asset. When the Receive Email Notifications option is turned on, notifications are also sent by email in case you are offline. Refer to Notifications for more information about the types of emails Knowledge Platform sends.

6. Select Accepted or Declined from the Opt-in Usage Information Tracking list box to opt in or out of optional information tracking as described in the Syniti Privacy Policy.

   Note

   You can also access the privacy policy by clicking the Privacy Policy link in the Knowledge Platform footer.

7. Click Save.
