Bug Fix

[KYB-1304]-Viewer role users could be added as an Assigned To and/or a Sponsor for an asset. Since Viewer role users cannot endorse or contest an asset, they have been removed from these list boxes and can no longer be assigned to an asset.

Enhancement

Updated the assignment of users as sponsors or assignees who have the Viewer role. If your role is changed to a Viewer, you must log into the Knowledge Tier in order for you to no longer appear in the assignee and sponsor list box lists on the asset details pages.

Note

Depending on how your system is configured, there may be a delay when changing user roles.

Enhancement

You can now select a migration dashboard to display as the default dashboard that displays when you open up the Knowledge Tier. Refer to View the Migration Dashboards for more information.

Enhancements

  • A new version of the Syniti KnowledgeTier REST API has been released, replacing the previous version. Refer to Syniti Knowledge Tier API for more information.

  • This will be a fully fledged enhancement soon! For now, we are hard at work improving the Director Dashboard, but before we can get everything just right, we have to remove the following features:

    • Impact status value for Contributors

    • Time frame filters

    • Recent Highlights

  • We are sorry for any hiccups this might cause in your process. We'll have an even better Director Dashboard ready for you in no time. If you have any questions, please contact CustomerSuccess@syniti.com.

Bug Fix

[KYB-1080]- An issue was fixed that allowed a new user account to be created using an email address assigned to an existing account on the tenant. While a success message displayed, there was a failure in the background that prohibited the new user from being edited. Instead of a success message, an error message now displays when an email address is already tied to a user on the tenant.
