Record Counts of a Report

In the Title bar of a report, the Report's name is displayed with the Record Count or total number of records for the report, the Limit value, and the current count depending on the configuration you set while creating a report.

Target Reports: Record Counts

Example 1: Target Report’s Record Count with the Limit value less than the total count of records

In Example 1, the Record Count is 49,152 and the Limit value is set to 1,000 records. The max count for the display is 1,000 records.

Example 2: Target Report's Record count and the Limit value

In Example 2, the Record Count is 49,512 and the Limit value is set to 50,000. As the Record count is less than the Limit value, the report displays the same Record count as the Limit value.

If a report is downloaded to a local file, the downloaded file contains records as per the Limit value. If the Limit value is greater than or equal to the Record Count, then the Record Count will be used to include all the records on the report in the downloaded file.

Breadcrumb Trail on the Report Details page

To assist the user in keeping track of the hierarchy for the displayed report, Syniti Migrate displays a breadcrumb trail below the Title bar.

Column Options

While viewing the report online, click the Options icon in the column header to view and select from the available options for that column. For example, the column may be pinned to the left or right side of the report, and it may be grouped.

Sorting a Column while Viewing the Report

To sort a column in ascending or descending order, click the required column header and an upward arrow () is displayed. The first click sorts the column in ascending order. The second click sorts it in descending order and a downward arrow () is displayed. The third click removes the sorting of that column.

Note

Only one column may be sorted at a time. Sorting by multiple columns must be set up on the Report Details page in the Target Reports section of Mappings by using the Report OrderBy field. Refer to Maintain Target Reports for more information on using the Report OrderBy field.

Group Records by a Column

Select a column and drag it to the header bar over Drag here to set row groups. This action groups the selected column with counts. Should that column also contain rows that have no value to the group, these rows are provided below the grouped rows as shown in the image.
