Overview
Drives in the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP) is a cloud-based, centralized file management solution that enables all users to securely store and manage their files in the SKP. Drives offers both personal and shared drives to help you organize and maintain your files within the SKP. When you upload a file, the system automatically performs a security scan to prevent harmful content from being introduced to the SKP or its modules.
Currently, Drives is integrated with the Replicate module, enhancing support for flat-file replications. This integration simplifies flat file data replications, minimizes dependence on external file systems, and delivers a seamless end-to-end experience for file exporting and replicating source files.
Administrators who manages Drives in the SKP’s Admin module may refer to Drives for more information on how to create and manage Drives.

Personal Drive
Each user has a dedicated personal drive for uploading and managing their work-related files. Only you can access its contents unless a security profile is associated with it. Sharing your personal drive allows for backing up your drive or transferring its contents to a new user account.
Shared Drives
The Drives home page also displays shared drives alongside your personal drive. These drives are accessible to users who have been granted access through a Security Profile. Shared drives enable authorized users to collaborate on files by uploading and downloading them as needed.
Note
Only Administrators can create or delete shareable drives and assign a security profile to them.
Administrators and Security Profile Managers of the relevant security profile associated with a shared drive have the ability to add or remove users who can access that drive.
